How to use

Delicately apply a dollop of The Barrier Cream to your face and neck.

I have to start from the moment I opened the Barrier Cream sample, because many skin care products have strong perfumes, sometimes very artificial and unnatural, and that is something that I really dislike, if I have to put it on my skin, specially on face. With Barrier Cream is the opposite: its cent is very soft and natural. When applying, it's very easy to spread and it's absorbed by the skin very quickly. After first applying, there is an instantly velvet-like sensation on skin, very pleasant. And I used to apply in the morning, after waking up and washing face, and didn't feel the need to re-apply it during the day, only after shower on gym days. I used to apply also at night, before bed, after washing my face, to let the miracle happen also during the night. After 5 days, the improvement that I noticed the most was the readiness that I usually had on cheeks, was gone! And I feel my skin more hydrated and with a healthier look. Finally, I have to say that I'm very new to skin care routine and I don't really like the idea of using many different products, but I feel that is possible to get very good results by only using the only Barrier Cream. It really helped me in this time of the year when my skin is in its worst shape (after festive season and also when I drink less water because it's winter). I'm already a fan! :)

I have only been using this cream for a few weeks but - I can honestly say I will be using this for a LONG time to come and I can't wait to try more products from Herbar. First of all: the cream. It is the most interesting texture...it's soft and thick while also being light. Not gooey. Glides on soooo smoothly. I have always had acne-prone skin, but skin that also gets dehydrated easily. Plus, most acne products are very drying. This has made my skin feel soft and supple and it hasn't felt dry in weeks! I also think my skin is getting a bit better with less breakouts?? If it's extra dry out (I live in Alberta where it's basically always dry) I pop some oil on top or mix it in with the cream. For the shipping: this is certainly not at any fault to Herbar, but the shipment took just shy of a month to get to western Canada. Just a heads up if someone is hoping to receive it sooner than later. Worth the wait though! Obviously the price is also high once you convert it to CAD, but a little goes such a long way with this tube that I'm fairly sure it'll last me months. And now I know to order in advance long before I run out. If you're questioning it, I highly recommend!

Found this brand on Instagram, I’ve only been using it for about a month now and my results are incredible.

I have sensitive, combination skin and most of the actives in typical skincare have some side effects for me, even when used properly. Since he made the switch to clean products, I’ve needed a barrier cream without endocrine disrupting junk in it.

The reason I love this brand is because of the adaptogenic factor— adaptogens ADAPT to what the skin needs rather than pushing it in one direction or another.

No breakouts, no dry patches, no side effects but somehow still such a powerful product. My skin is literally dewy like a glazed donut! No one paid me or gave me product for this review, I just love their stuff so much.
